1. Irzing Azoff is the CEO of ticketmaster entertainment. The music business is struggling during the recession and he believes if ticketmaster and live nation merge it will reduce the number of middlemen between artists and fans.
2. The rise of online ticketing sites, brokers, and resellers means that fans are often paying more to attend concerts but artists and venues aren't seeing any additional revenue.
3. Ticketmaster is being challenged by online ticket services such as stubhub who scalp tickets at much higher prices than ticketmaster. Live nation has also evolved into a large concert promoter and venue operator.
4. By doing this they cut out all the middle men and sold their albums directly to walmart then to the fans which gave them a substantial greater income than if they did it the traditional way.

Scam Season
1. Now crooks are singling out secific targets, a tactic called spear phishing. The use of text messages is another fairly new tactic. Scammers are sending out phony emails and putting up fake web siters pretending to be banks, mortgage service providers or even government agencies. Their grammar has started to better over the years also.
2. The scammers are faking the caller IDs of banks and other businesses in telephone phishing scams.The phone ID bears the name of a real company.
3. Yes. Mainly on my email they have sent me make money easy and ads like that.
4. I would tell them to not give their personal information up front and to not click advertisemnets on websites.
5. First, A spam from CBP Assistant Commissioner, Thomas S. Winkowski, is currently being circulated using the name and reputation of a federal government official.The spam e-mail indicates the CBP has stopped a diplomat who is carrying a consignment to be delivered to the recipient's residence. This consignment allegedly contains millions of dollars, which is revealed to be an inheritance for the e-mail recipient.
Second, the circulation of a fraudulent e-mail, from The Oprah Winfrey Show, telling recipients of their nomination for the Oprah Millionaire Contest Show. To participate, recipients are requested to mail their contact information such as full name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. Verified contestants are then required to purchase airfare and a ticket to attend "The Oprah Winfrey Show
